Christian Speculative Fiction

Commonly called CSF, this genre is not new, but rather forgotten.  However, this old genre is quickly regaining popularity among those who want high fantasy, fast paced; action packed, clean fiction. The themes are biblical and morally uplifting. The settings vary between science fiction, futuristic, superhero, time travel, supernatural, horror, end-of-the world “Armageddon” and alternate realities to list a few.

The best known examples that fall under these categories are “The Chronicles of Narnia” and “The Lord of the Rings”. We have in fact C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien to thank for the renaissance of this genre. They, in my opinion, did in the twentieth century what poets like Dante and Milton have done in their time.

Out of this world.
A Fascinating Read.
Mystical, ...a must read!

 Veiled takes Heaven to a whole other level by making it a realistic place with people who have wants and needs rather than a fluffy cloud where there is nothing but happiness.

The characters draw you in with their real fears of forgetting their life and heading into another. I was invested in them all by the end. The plot flows and is pretty in depth. The setting is very cool and almost sci-fi.
I love the other worlds that the spirits can travel too. I love the prep to come to earth. I love how no rock is left unturned. It would seem SB Niccum has touched on just about everything.
